Vicksmetal Company, a division company of Steel Summit Holdings, Inc. (SSH: a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation), manufactures wound cores for the transformer industry.

At Vicksmetal Company, we produce finished cores for several different transformer and voltage regulator manufacturers.

Vicksmetal Company uses the most modern equipment, consisting of 4 Unicore 4000 machines and 3 batch annealing furnaces. Our Unicore machines were custom built to our specifications and can produce wound cores up to 12 inches wide.

We produce to the customers’ drawings and specifications, and are now an approved supplier for major transformer manufacturers.
